In the shadowed corridors of Thanatos, a city of death and whispers, novice psychopomp Mishal of Gaven Hill confronts a labyrinth of ancient secrets, forbidden artifacts, and the creeping corruption within the Order he’s sworn to serve. Haunted by a soul trapped in a cursed medallion and burdened by a vow that could unravel the Order itself, Mishal navigates a world where trust is dangerous, and every shadow harbors a threat.
When tasked with uncovering the medallion’s dark purpose, Mishal must delve into the monastery’s vast archives, face the ire of powerful inquisitors, and endure harrowing trials that test both his resolve and his sanity. As whispers of the Red Cloths and their heretical influence grow louder, Mishal begins to unravel a truth buried beneath centuries of silence—a truth that could shake the foundations of Thanatos.
Will he uncover the answers in time to save the soul he swore to protect? Or will the dark halls of Thanatos claim him before he can face the horrors lurking within?
A tale of mystery, sacrifice, and the haunting weight of unbroken promises, The Monk of Thanatos plunges into a world where light is a memory, and darkness reigns supreme.
