Dawn of the Lightbearer, the first book in my new Absolution of the Morning Star series, will be out July 2nd and is now available for Pre-order on Amazon! For my last two books, Island of Stone and the Slaying of the Bull, I was too nervous to schedule a release date and make available for pre-order, but for Dawn of the Lightbearer I’m being bold. I’m still editing the book, but I am confident that it will be done on time and the deadline gives me a bit of a push to stay on track.

Dawn of the Lightbearer is an epic fantasy set in a world where memories of medieval magic are fading and the flash and bang of the gunpowder age are taking hold. It follows the young and mysterious Erikson Gray as he tries to find his place in this scarred and dying land full of ancient secrets, sinister plots, and growing tension. After a long and bloody civil war between Emperor Vesper Zulikaarme, the Uniter, and his sons ravaged Erik’s land of Lucardia, the long reign of Vesper will soon come to an end. In a sick land fraught with an unknown succession, an old and powerful enemy slithers on the periphery of the empire, looking to take revenge on humanity during this time of weakness. With the empire distracted, it is now up to Erikson Gray and his allies to rediscover the story of their people, the sacrifices they made, and ultimately the horror they committed to steal humanity’s age of greatness. But does humankind still have the fortitude to claw its way back to the light of the sun, or has our long day finally come to an end? Find out!

  3. Are all of the books mentioned here apart of the same series? Will look into preordering one if I can find the time to read , having to move soon but will definitely update my bookshelf once I’m settled in at my new place I’ll have tons of time to catch up on your releases ! Love the emperor name Vesper , that was my birth name if u add an A and it’s meaning and origin is pretty interesting especially in a fantasy book like yours can’t wait to get into the fantasy world

  4. Thanks for your interest! They are each the first book in a separate series. After the release of Dawn of the Lightbearer (Absolution of the Morning Star series), I will likely continue to write the sequel to Island of Stone (Monuments of Stone series). I’m about a fourth of the way done. Then, I may continue with the sequel to Slaying of the Bull (Tocharian Gospels Series). That is also about a fourth done. But really, I’m waiting to see which of the three series gets the most traction and will follow the course.
