The Novice of Thanatos book trailer!

I hope you enjoy my newest visual offering for my upcoming novel, The Novice of Thanatos, which will be released on March 7, 2025 (available for preorder now).

It would be redundant to say I’m very excited about this book, but I am. It is a strong first book in what will be a trilogy. I am already well along in book 2, The Monk of Thanatos, and hope to write book 3 this year as well (as long as the world doesn’t entirely fall apart).

This trailer captures the mood of The Novice of Thanatos well. It is not as epic as my other works in the Lucardian world, being more focused on my main character, Mishal (it is his memoir), but it’s just as dark, bordering at times on horror.

I realize that not everybody is in the mood to read a book right now. Trust me, I understand. I have a hard time writing them, too, but sometimes, you must step into another world to distance yourself from our own. For some, that means somewhere cheerier, and for others, it means somewhere darker. Lucardia is not a cheery world, but it has moments of light where the shadows clarify.
